RISE volunteers had the pleasure to help out Mr.Brown who needed trees cut on his property. Mr.Brown planted those same chestnut trees when he was 12 years old with his daddy. All he asked was for someone to cut the trees up in pieces so he could move them.
Instead, half a dozen of our volunteers showed up in the rain, cut the trees with chainsaws, and hauled every single bit of it off to the road. It’s a really great feeling to see someone smile so hard that it makes them cry. We’re blessed to be able to help! ❤️
