While a group of fantastic volunteers were helping a family clear their property, another group of amazing volunteers helped a family in Bakersville by putting up a shelter for their mini ponies 🐴. The couple lost their barn due to a large tornado that touched down on each side of their property. By the grace of god, they and their animals were all ok. However, their barn took a beating leaving the ponies, of which 2 are in foal, in the harsh elements. Although the owner could rebuild, he can’t until next year due to the fact he broke his arm while working on the barn. Therefore, we stepped in to help assist to ensure these 4 legged beautiful babies would have a nice place to get out of the wind and cold! Thank you to each one of you as you are so appreciated 🩷 A big shout out and Thank You to Chrissy and Forgotten, Now Family Rescue for purchasing these shelters and to those of who you have donated so we could get them up before the snow really flies ❄️ This is one of the 4 set up 🥰. Thank you Karen, Jason, Deana, Katie, Christian and Hayden- your selflessness and willingness to help this couple and their ponies will never be forgotten! We also had some fun with all the animals while we were there and the owners even made the most delicious lunch for us- thank you 😊
